How... would one celebrate Thanksgiving? I possess no prior experience to this so called holiday. What should be done?

I can't go home in time, chuuuuuuu...

So I guess I'll send a letter home again and spend the day with friends, chu! Can people eat apples for Thanksgiving? [She would love her some apple cider and apple pie and also perfect apples of perfection.]
